Farmhouse Décor is one of the most popular decor styles of the year!
During the Fall Season, Farmhouse Decor has a way of filling your home with a classy, cozy, warm feeling. Simply add the scent of pumpkin or apple spice, and your home will be an autumn wonderland.
The best part is that DIY Farmhouse Décor projects are incredibly easy to recreate.
Below are 11 of my all-time favorite DIY Farmhouse Décor Ideas – just in time for the fall season.
1.) DIY Barn Wood Shutters

All you will need for this project are a few boards, nails, and some stain.
The result is a beautiful set of shutters, creating the perfect farmhouse mantelpiece.
The creator of this project purchased the boards for under $10 at Home Depot, so you can imagine how affordable this piece of decor is.
2.) DIY Fall Barnwood Sign

This “Harvest Sign” will add the perfect pop of fall color to your front porch or even your living room.
Simply find some pieces of barnwood or wood from Home Depot. Just keep in mind that the more beat up the board is, the better the result will be.
3.) DIY Thanksgiving Centerpiece

This table centerpiece is the perfect addition to your dining room table.
This DIY project only takes a few supplies that you can purchase at any craft store: berry garlands, moss, real or plastic pumpkins, and some candles.
You can throw in some additional decor pieces if you would like it to fit your own unique decor style.
4.) Neutral Fall Mantel Decor

This mantel decor gives a lovely twist to the typical orange, red, and yellow colors of the fall season.
These neutral colors are exaggerated by the addition of a ton of white pumpkins.
However, if you’d like to add some color, simply add a few leaves or colorful pumpkins.
5.) Autumn Porch Decor

The front porch is one of my favorite places to decorate!
It is the first (and possibly only place) that your friends and neighbors will be able to enjoy your fall decorations.
This DIY project is rather self-explanatory, however the key is to purchase a lot of pumpkins.
6.) Easy Fall Decor Bowl

To me, this bowl simply looks like the perfect way to store your Thanksgiving vegetables in a bowl – until you need it for dinner.
A wooden bowl, pine cones, dried corn, and some additional vegetables help to create one of the easiest fall centerpiece on this list.
7.) Dining Room Hutch Decor

Once again, this DIY project is rather self-explanatory. However, I would like to add my own experience to this decor.
I have recreated this look with a mirror! Instead of using a barn window, I use a wood-paneled mirror that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.
8.) The $20 Rustic Ladder
Source: Worthing Court
This incredibly affordable DIY ladder will be the prefect statement piece to any room in your home.
During the fall season, I would drape the ladder in a tartan blanket or scarf and put a basket beside the ladder filled with fall decor like pumpkins and firewood.
The best part is that this project should only take you an afternoon build.
9.) Entryway Fall Decor

The first place your guests see is your entryway! Why not add a simple touch of fall to this part of your house?
This project will take you only a few minutes to put together, however, it creates a warm and cozy atmosphere.
10.) Clipped Branches from A Tree

Hands down the easiest decor idea on the list!
If you have colorful trees on your property, simply clip a few branches and put them in a large vase or canister.
The perfect pop of color – given to you by nature.
11.) Neutral Front Porch

If you love neutral colors, this decor style is for you.
The color hews of white, grey, and green are often though of as spring colors. However, they can easily transition into fall with the ideas shown above.
These Fall DIY Farmhouse Decor projects are a great way to fill your home with warmth, texture, and design.
If you are a fan of the HGTV show, “Fixer Upper”, you need to try at least one of these projects.
